Apartments Villa Palme - Opatija

Owners were wonderful. They were very nice and spoke perfect English. They even allowed us to checkout late to let the baby finish his nap. The two bedroom apartment was nice for two couples with a small kitchenette, large patio, and decent living area. The pool was refreshing and the view was awesome.

The distance into town was not bad but for someone with limited mobility it might be a problem because it is somewhat of a large hill. The sidewalks leading down could have been better which i only mention because we had a stroller but all in all it wasnt bad. Would stay again!

Location is excellent, the hosts are very helpful, panoramic view is exceptional, the garden is very enjoyable with good facilities (sunbeds, playground, pool), quite environment. Opatija as resort can be considered also as unique.

Parking can be challanging in case of full occupancy of the villa.Despite the luxory furniture at every unit there are real differences among the variuos appartman (light, size etc.), which can not be known simply based on the website.

It was not possible to watch Croatian TV programs (news, football...) The first day they promised to fix it...and then they "forget".

MIllion dollar views of the Adriatic make up for any failings that the apartment has.

The apartment needed a bit of TLC, eg some of the floor boards were loose, and some of the light bulbs in apartment lamps needed replacing. Also in this day and age shoving seperate single beds together doesn't cut it as a double bed.

The hostess, Erica, was wonderful. She was so helpful with guiding us on Opatija. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The grounds of the Villa Palme were beautiful, and the view was spectacular.

the location and the view over the bay is wonderfull. Appartments were clean and spacious and the swimning pool is great

The mattress of the extra living room sofa bed is unacceptable and does not allow any sleep. our kids had to sleep on the couch directly! Also, curtains are missing so expect a sunrise wake up.

I cannot put into words the wonderful experience our family had at Ville Palme. These are bright, sunny, clean apartments that sit above the sea with one of the most amazing views. The pool has the same view and is constantly kept clean....it was a great way to start and end every day. The location is extremely convenient as everything is just a few blocks away. My kids loved, loved, loved the place...which say a lot. But beyond the wonderful view, location, accommodations there were the owners....this is a family owned and ran business which means you have 24-hr access to helpful information. Erika is so warm and inviting, living by the saying, "just ask and I've probably got it". She and her family would answer any question and even helped us find an amazing picnic boat cruise around the islands. We will be back as many times as we can while we are in Europe, and maybe a few more times after we return to the states!!! Ignore any negative comments, Ville Palme is the place to stay!!!!

The view from the apartment was incredible!!! My husband and I are travelling around Europe with another couple and were so happy with our apartment. The rooms had double beds, the living room was comfortable and the outside deck was perfect!

The accomodations were well described on the website and we found them to meet all of our expectations for a very comfortable, relaxing family vacation. Great views from the apartments! We read some negative reviews, but chose to go anyway and found the negative reviews to be wrong- very friendly hosts in a wonderful location.

The view is extraordinary. The owners are very friendly. The rooms are spacious and well equiped.

We booked two rooms - for us and our children - that were separated by too many stairs. No phone either to communicate with our children in the other room or the hotel staff. Parking is tricky.

We had a very good time there. Its a family-hotel and they are all very friendly and speak perfectly english and german. The option of a professional massage beside the pool was very nice. By car you get easely to nice beaches. The town is nice but the beaches outside town are far better!

If you have got a weak car or a lot of weight in the car there is a small risk (driving too fast) to damage the car coming up the steeply street to the hotel. Dont take it too serious everyone can handle this!

A beautiful place to stay at. Very clean and well kept. Most of all we liked the view by night. I can highly recommend Villa Palme.

the location and view was perfect. Very friendly ownern. Just the right size of pool (you could swimm in it not just get wet). Apartments were good sized and clean.

We needed some more dishes but asked and Erika (the owner) provided it.

We liked everything about Villa Palme and can highly recommend it.They have even a little playground for small children.

wish we could have staid longer.In Opatija it is difficult to find a parking space so we left the car in the parking lot at Villa Palme. VP is about 350m from the city center straight down, taxi is very inexpensive about 3€ to come up.

magnificent view, spacious and clean apartment, friendly hosts. For the price the best place to stay. I can highly recommend Villa Palme and will definitely come back,
